Brutalist
chess set
Designed by Jordy Virguetti
background
+ artistic philosophy
The design process started by looking at my past and present, where I drew inspiration from the monolithic structures of the Tiwanakans, an ancient Bolivian civilization, and Brutalist architecture. The idea of creating a chess set began with the fascination of creating something that was both functional, timeless, and personal.
